wcbn fm chart april 7, 2014

we love our Ann Arbor neighbors at Ghostly International! but you knew that already.
we also love our Detroit friends Protomartyr, and we're glad they're on a national label now.
we also love Sun Ra, and the Planet D Nonet, who played a Sun Ra 100th birthday concert at the University of Michigan Museum of Art, which we broadcast live on the air.
we celebrated April Fool's Day by switching our format to smooth jazz for the day. THAT was the most fun April 1st we've ever had in the history of our radio station.
i saw Oneohtrix Point Never at the MOCAD last night, which was great but the atmosphere was kind of weird... too many drunk shouting people. uhhh.
lots of stuff happening this weekend... Tycho at the Crofoot, Mind Over Mirrors at Trinosophe's, Julianna Barwick at the MOCAD, and a bunch of other stuff coming up.
