WCBN FM chart 7/11/11: new MD info!

hey everyone!

so it's been a while since you've received a WCBN chart, and it's been even longer since you've consistently been receiving WCBN charts on a weekly basis. well all that's about to come to an end because there's been a change in management, from now on the music directors at WCBN are Rob Goldey, and myself, Paul Simpson. and if my name sounds familiar, yes, it's because i was RPM director at WRSU and WPKN for many years. i moved to Ann Arbor in '09 and got involved with WCBN, i do a show called The Answer Is In The Beat, and now i'm taking over as one of the music directors. i'll probably be doing most of the charting stuff, as well as a lot of the tracking, but you'll hear from Rob too. but i will be sending these charts out consistently every week, i'm good at that, so get ready for that. not sure about office hours quite yet, i think our business line at the station is down for the moment, but as soon as i sort that out i'll post about it in a chart mailout. in any case, email is better anyway, so get in touch and we'll let you know what's up.

cliff notes: YES! WCBN is still here! YES! we have new music directors! YES! we are going to be sending charts out regularly again! YES! i used to be at WPKN and WRSU so you might know me already! and YES! we are receiving your records if you're sending them, and if you're not, then send them!!!

anyway, here's James Rocker's last submitted chart, next week i'll be taking the reins completely.
talk to you soon!!! and thanks for sending us stuff, we love you!!!

It's DJ Chill Will of the University of Michigan's WCBN 88.3 FM. Home of the longest running Hip Hop show in the Mid-West and maybe the country. Check our Top 40 chart for July 6. And be sure to tune into the show weekly on 88.3 FM in the Ann Arbor/Metro Detroit area or at www.wcbn.org Saturday night's from 9pm until 12 am est.

Had another great show with a lot of local talent in the building. Young Jeno is a dude you'll be hearing a lot from in the future. Also be on the look out for my dude MC Yoda and his new project. A mix of everything from Hip Hop to Drum and Bass. Speaking of a Blast from the past. I just got a new joint from area legend Brotha Brown which is fire.
