hope everyone who went to CMJ had a good time... i wasn't there, but i WILL be in NYC this weekend for the WFMU record fair, which this year will be presenting the first annual Radiovision conference, which will be very exciting and informative. and then i have to drive home early on Sunday and miss the People Like Us performance, as well as a John Fahey discussion and tribute featuring Glenn Jones. d'oh... but i'm still super psyched to be heading to NY/NJ again, visiting some friends, spending way too much money on records, PREX, etc.

What's up people? Can I say it's been a blast the last month with traveling to the West Coast. Rocking at some of the dopest spots, cities and just meeting some great people along the way.  Then Being put on as a mixer at The New 98-7 AMP radio in Detroit. I was Feeling good then the Michigan Wolverines, Detroit Tigers  and the Lions have been putting the smack down on everybody. This was the first Monday night football game in years and we didn't get disappointed. Feels nice to say the Lions are winning and the city has gotten some good press. What's up people? It was a back to reality type of weekend with sports in the area. Everybody loss, so the season is over for the Tigers and Michigan and the Lions got there first L's of the season. But it was good while it lasted and brought much excitement to the area. Shout to the Final Outlaw for a dope interview to go with some dope music. He was at Occupy Wall street while doing it and share some real perspective on what's going on there. I was able to check out Oncue and the homie Bri G at a the Blind Pig doing there thing. Deans List also did there thing with the live instruments. And I know I'm a real Hip Hop fan back when things were bangin in the 90's. But M.O.P's "Ante Up" came on and people didn't react to it like we did and still do. Things have changed!!!!
